A troubled young mother yearns for a shot at redemption in this heartbreaking yet hopeful story from #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover.
After serving five years in prison for a tragic mistake, Kenna Rowan returns to the town where it all went wrong, hoping to reunite with her four-year-old daughter. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself.
The only person who hasn’t closed the door on her completely is Ledger Ward, a local bar owner and one of the few remaining links to Kenna’s daughter. But if anyone were to discover how Ledger is slowly becoming an important part of Kenna’s life, both would risk losing the trust of everyone important to them.
The two form a connection despite the pressure surrounding them, but as their romance grows, so does the risk. Kenna must find a way to absolve the mistakes of her past to build a future out of hope and healing.
An Amazon Best Book of January 2022: Every aspect of Reminders of Him feels heightened because it’s not just a romance novel and it’s not just an angst-filled forgiveness and redemption story. It’s not a heartrending epistolary novel written to a lost love. And it’s not even a what’s-best-for-the-child kitchen sink drama, though that’s how the first three story arcs intersect. It’s an honest-to-God, wet eyelashes, lump-in-throat (twice!), mix of all four. You will laugh, you will cry, you will have a new appreciation for orange F-150 trucks. And, as Kenna struggles, fails, and struggles harder to win back the reputation and the daughter she lost tragically, you will hurt for her and cheer for her. And if the owner of the orange truck is involved somehow, well, I’m not crying, you’re crying.

“Hoover delves deep into grief and guilt to create a multifaceted redemption story for a cast of characters who fight as fiercely as they love. Fans won’t be disappointed.”
“With captivating dialogue, angst-y characters, and a couple of steamy sex scenes, Hoover has done it again.”
“An angsty, emotionally-charged novel about finding forgiveness and redemption for past mistakes, Reminders of Him took Colleen Hoover’s already evocative writing to a whole new level…An intimate, sometimes painfully real, reading experience like no other.”
―Harlequin Junkie, Top Pick
“Colleen Hoover’s new romance will rip you apart and put you back together again…An emotional masterpiece about loss and hope, grief and forgiveness, and how the power of love can heal.”
“Heartbreaking yet hopeful.”

REMINDERS OF HIM is heartbreaking yet hopeful, with a cast of compelling characters— a highly emotional tale of love and loss.
Rock star author Coleen Hoove returns with another intense and gripping tale with characters that linger long after the book ends.
After being released from prison, a young woman (Kenna) tries to reconnect with her 5-year-old daughter (Diem) despite having killed the girl’s father (Scotty).
Will the parents of the son that she killed forgive her and give her a second chance and allow her to be a part of her daughter's life now that the grandparents have raised her?
Ledger, Scotty's best friend, steps in as a mediator. Does he trust her, and is he willing to get to know her for a second chance?
Told alternatively from Kenna’s and Ledger’s POV, the riveting story explores how our decisions based on information that may not be as it appears can change lives.
TOP BOOKS OF 2022 LIST! Beautifully rendered, REMINDERS OF HIM is Colleen Hoover's best since IT ENDS WITH US (another all-time fav). I cried less with this latest one. 💖
I listened to the audiobook narrated by (my fav) Brittany Pressley and Ryan West, and they offered an award-winning performance. I highly recommend the audiobook!
This is one you cannot put down. If you do, you will wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it, and up you go to finish listening. This will be another bestseller. If you love Nicholas Sparks' love stories or Catherine Ryan Hyde's heartfelt stories, this one is for you!
In addition to grief, the novel also deftly explores complex, highly-charged issues such as guilt, self-doubt, redemption, identity, forgiveness, and second chances.
I adored the ending! Colleen is one of the best writers out today for women's fiction, and even though I mostly read thrillers, crime, legal, literary, and some historical, I will always pick up a Colleen Hoover book every time. Her writing is breathtaking and awe-inspiring. Thank you for a happy ending.
I cannot wait for Hoover's It Starts with Us (10/18/22)! Anxiously awaiting October and the audiobook an auto pre-order!
